Jacque started signing with her son, Jonathan, when he was seven months old. Jonathan had his first sign "FISH" at 11 months and continued to acquire more signs as he went along. Jonathan was able to use 60 signs to express his needs, with over 50 active spoken vocabulary words and produced simple 2-word phrases as early as 18 months.

Jacque has been a teacher of English for over 10 years and continues to work in the field of education, particularly language education and parent education. She has conducted talks and playgroups for children and families to promote parent education. Having worked with teachers in her profession, she is also keen on promoting the Baby Signs® Program to early childhood educators.

最初在兒子3個月時認識嬰兒手語。並於兒子7個月大時於平日與兒子日常溝通及親子活動中開始使用嬰兒手語。兒子在11個月大時懂得做出第一個手語“魚”，兒子16個月大的時候，已經能用34個日常日活手語詞彙表達自己（包括物件，需要及感覺等）並能清楚說出50多個生活字詞及開始使用兩個詞的短語句。

為資深教師，從事教育10多年。Jacque 曾多次為機構及媽媽會舉辦嬰兒手語講座及親子小組活動，積極鼓勵親職教育。現在，Jacque在香港開辦Baby Signs® 家長工作坊及親子活動班，讓家長透過不同親子活動，實習如何應用嬰兒手語發展嬰兒溝通能力。
