These are the general terms and conditions of the BABY SIGNS HONG KONG regarding workshops / classes and the sales of parenting resources through the Baby Signs Hong Kong website. These policies are defined to guarantee a certain level of service toward our customers while preserving the interest of the company against abusive or undue behaviour.

CUSTOMER PRIVACY

Kindly be assured that customer information is used to process orders only and that no payment data information is kept. Names, email details, order details and addresses will NOT be passed on to any external party for use in any marketing effort.

Should you wish to be kept informed of updates, new articles, new products and special offers, please join the Baby Signs Hong Kong Facebook page (registration is free)..

CANCELLATION POLICY

We urge early registration for all workshops and classes. Minimum enrolment must be met at least one week prior to the class / workshop date or there is a possibility of cancellation. When enrolment is low, Baby Signs Hong Kong reserves the right to cancel the class / workshop.

Sessions will be held as usual unless Typhoon signal 8 or Black Rainstorm Signal is on. You will be notified of the schedule of a make-up workshop/class by email.


REFUND / RETURN POLICY

Parent Workshop
If you are unable to attend a workshop, we will issue a full refund if you notify us a minimum of two weeks before the workshop date. If enrolment is insufficient and we cancel a class, your fee will be refunded.

Sign, Say, & Play® Class / MORE Sign, Say, & Play® Class
If you/your child are unable to attend a class within the series, we may arrange for a make-up session with the next available class (subject to availability). If enrolment is insufficient and we cancel a class, your fee will be refunded. Cancellation of participation in the class series will get a refund if you notify us a minimum of two weeks before the start of the class series.

Products
We do our best for you to be totally satisfied with your purchase. Should you wish to return or exchange an item, you may do so within 15 days of order receipt. An item may be returned or exchanged only if it is in a new and unused condition. Refunds are usually made through store credits and and calculated based on the price paid, after eventual discounts (where applicable). Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Baby Signs Hong Kong reserves the right to refuse returns at its discretion.

Please forward a copy of the bank remittance advice slip to inform us of the transfer. You may do so via email, fax or snail mail. An official receipt will be issued upon verification of payment.
Payment should be received at least 1 week before the start of the workshop/series of classes (Sign, Say, & Play™ and MORE Sign, Say, & Play™) for which you have signed up.

Payment should be received within 1 week of order placement. Goods will be delivered only upon receipt of payment.
 

SHIPPING

All products will be shipped within 1-3 business days (Mon-Fri) upon receipt of payment.

All orders will be shipped through Hong Kong Post or via SF-Express. Postage rate depends on the weight of the items ordered/being sent.

To help you estimate your shipping costs, HK Post has developed a very practical tool: Local mail postage calculator and Overseas mail postage calculator.

Once orders have been shipped, the customer will be alerted of the shipment by Email.

Unless you require Mail Registration, there is no tracing and no compensation for delay, damage or loss of the mailed items from Hong Kong Post.

For registered items, tracing is available and compensation up to HK$30 is payable in the event of loss or damage. Compensation will not exceed the market value of the articles lost or the amount of damage sustained. Indirect loss or loss of profits will not be taken into consideration.

Local registered items can be traced within 6 months after the day of posting.

Overseas registered items can be traced 2 weeks to a maximum of 6 months after the day of posting.

Registration charge is HK$13 per item to all local and international destinations.

Any customs and duty charge on orders shipped to international destinations are the responsibility of the customer.


PACKAGING / INVOICING

Baby Signs Hong Kong is an environmentally-friendly company.

We will email you your receipt after shipping in a PDF file. You must have AcrobatReader installed to view the receipt. If, for any reason, you prefer to have a paper invoice, please email info@babysignshongkong.com to let us know.

We try to reuse and/or recycle packaging materials.
The packaging materials may include brown kraft paper, tissue paper, plastic bags, bubble wrap and Styrofoam peanuts, depending on what we have received from our suppliers.

To help preserve the environment, we encourage you to reuse and/or recycle all the materials you receive instead of throwing them away.
